Lady Gaga Checks Into Hospital For Hip Surgery.

Lady Gaga scrapped the remaining date on her Born This Way Ball tour earlier this month after being diagnosed with synovitis, a severe inflammation of the joints.

This week she was seen using a wheelchair – which she had named ‘Emma’ – to take the strain off her legs.  And now Gaga is going under the knife in a bid to address the problem.
